Polymer Clay & Mixed Meida
I am a jewelry and mixed media artist working in polymer clay creating unique and whimsical creations. Crafted using a “milleflori” technique (meaning “thousand flowers”) originally a Venetian glass working process by combining and folding thin rods of different colors to form “canes” which are sliced and layered in a collage to form an intricate pattern art work. The colorful canes are combined into decorative designs for beads, barrettes and broaches. Most of the necklaces are strung on a leather cord with an original slide bead that allows the wearer to adjust the necklace for different lengths.
